Aunt Suzanne was born in 1910, in Istanbul, Turkey, to Molho family. Her birth name was Shoshana-Sultana.

Circa 1925, the Molho family immigrated to France and settled in Thonon-Les-Bains.

Aunt Suzanne married Uncle Mordo Gambash in Thonon-Les-Bains. They had five children: Elda, Elie, Monique, Momo and Didi.

During World War II, they luckily survived the Nazi aggression against Jews thanks to French neighbours who sheltered them.
